This week marks 30 years STEM so year 4 have begun their science topic on sound by carrying out lots of investigations. They have investigated how we hear, how we change the pitch of a sound and how we can change how loud or quiet something is. Well done year 4, brilliant investigations.
Year 3 have been learning about magnets and forces. The children have been investigating which surface area creates the least amount of resistance, they also investigated are all metals attracted to a magnet and which materials can magnets attract through? They have been brilliant scientists and have enjoyed learning all about magnets and forces.

Last week Nursery enjoyed learning about the life cycle of plants. We then enjoyed planting peas in our playground. We can't wait for them to grow so we can eat them!

Last week Nursery started reading the story, 'Jack and the Beanstalk.' We enjoyed pretending to be the different characters outside, we also enjoyed drawing giants and exploring, 'magic beans.'
