This week in RE year 2 had a visit from Reverend Gareth where he discussed the different Easter symbols and where and why we will find them in the church. This week in RE the children have been exploring how objects can bring us comfort and have special meanings. Year 3 have thought about an object that is special to them, who gave it them and what memories they have with that object also special people in their lives. We then considered how Hindu pray with music and the special items they might have in a shrine.
We have loved having the children’s families join us this week for our Belong, Believe, Achieve workshop. It was a great success. The children were able to show their families what they have been learning about in class. We are very proud of them.
