    This term, we have been considering puberty and the changes that may happen. We considered personal hygiene and how we can look after it.

  • Reception are superheroes this week!

    Reception had a fun day being superheroes this week! They had different challenges around the classroom that they needed to complete! We were so impressed with everybody in Reception and we agreed that anybody can be our hero! 

  • Nursery have been super readers this week!

    This week Nursery have been hunting for letters in the rice. The children are beginning to recognise the letters and make the correct phoneme sound. They have even been thinking of things that start with the same phoneme sound. Well done Nursery!

  • Year 4 have been musicians

    This week we have continued to learn about our current song - You Can See It Through. We have been looking at modereto tempos (tempo with a moderate pace. We have also been looking at rhythmic patterns and key signatures. Both classes have looked at simple melodic patterns ranging from C D E G & A

     

     

  • Year 3 have been market researchers this week!

    This week year 3 have been completing market research for their DT topic. They have visited the local Aldi to investigate the possible options to meet the design brief. We found different types of pittas, vegetable fillings, meat fillings and cheese options. We will use this information for our designs next week, watch out for our next post! 

  • Year 2 have been philosophers this week

    This week, we had a fantastic philosophy for children (P4C) session all about ‘What makes me, me?’  We joined partners to respond to thought provoking questions about our interests, special memories and things that are important to us.
