Year 5 enjoyed reading with their parents/carers this afternoon. They enjoyed some lovely stories. They are really impressing me with their determination to “strive for five”!
This week Reception have been exploring their families. They have drawn pictures of who is in their family, made pebbles families or used the play dough to build their family.
Nursery are exploring making marks this week. We are trying hard to copy patterns in glitter and with crayons and paint as well. Well done Nursery!
Year 4 have had an amazing start to the school year. We are so proud of them all! We have started our English lessons with the story ‘Woman Of The Sea’. Will she ever return?
Year 5 have been working super hard this week and are already engaging brilliantly in their maths topic impressing us with their knowledge of the place value of digits!
Year 6 have made an amazing start to the new year. They have shown fantastic attitudes towards their learning and all the staff have been so impressed with them! We have started our Geography topic on St Lucia where the children really impressed us with their questioning skills.
We are thrilled with how well our Year 2’s have settled into the new school year! They have demonstrated excellent phonics skills and made lovely shields to represent the groups they are part of outside school.
Nursery have had an amazing first week in their new class. They have all enjoyed exploring their new classroom and making new friends. Well done Nursery!
Year 3 have had a fantastic first week back. We have started off our English this half term looking at the text ‘The Marriage of Ganesh’. Was he cheating? 😮
Reception have settled into their new classroom environment. They have enjoyed exploring the new areas and being creative with their friends. We are looking forward to an amazing year!
