  • Year 2 are Teachers

    Fri 18 Jul 2025 Miss Richardson and Mr Smith

    This week year 2 made booklets compiling all their knowledge about Hanukkah and its importance Jewish people. They then went down to early years to teach the children all about Hanukkah. The younger children asked lots a questions about the artefacts and story. It was a lovely afternoon!

  • Year 1 are computing superstars…

    Year 1 have had a computing day this week and have tried so hard with their drag and drop skills, editing text and adding images. It took a lot of persistence and resilience but everyone produced a brilliant ‘missing pet’ poster. Well done Year 1, your teamwork skills were great! 

  • Year 4 are Scientists!

    Year 4 enjoyed their trip to the Science and Industry museum. We had a fabulous time exploring the museum, watching the Manchester revolution show, investigating all the wonderful aspects of science and experiencing the Operation ouch exhibition.

  • Year 3 are Master chefs 🧑‍🍳!

    Today year 3 became master chefs and put their designs into action to create pitta pockets 🧑‍🍳👩‍🍳.  We chopped, sliced, grated and selected our own filling to create our own delicious pockets. What would you choose?

  • Year 2 are Mathematicians

    This week Year 2 have been looking at mass. Children have used their knowledge of all four operations to work out a recipe for chocolate brownies and then made them today. I’ve got say the result was … DELICIOUS! 

  • Year 4 are Historians

    Wed 02 Jul 2025 Mrs Phelan and Mrs Halpin-Power

    This week Year 4 have started their new History topic on Crime and Punishment in the Middle Ages. We have looked at the different crimes and punishments in the Anglo-Saxon era. We discovered that the trials were brutal and they often led to you being found guilty, even if you weren’t. 
    Well done Year 4! 

  • Year 3 are explorers of Holy Communion!

    Today as part of our RE topic ‘What does it mean to be Christian in Britain 🇬🇧 today?’ we explored Holy Communion. We were very fortunate that Reverend Gareth and Reverend Pamela were are to conduct a typical Holy Communion service for us at church. We asked some great questions and took part in the blessing. 

  • Reception are designers.

    Reception have enjoyed learning the poem of ‘Zim, Zam, Zoom’. They have designed and created their own rocket and were able to write independent sentences.
