Nursery loved having their parents in during their Maths lesson. We showed our counting skills and how amazing Nursery are at number. We can't wait to have our parents in again.
Year 6 have been working hard on their drawing and painting skills. Inspired by the work of artist Georgina Luck, they have created their own illustrations using watercolours and ink. We think they look fabulous!
As our history draws to a close we have been having a debate as to who they think was the most significant in leaving a lasting impact L S Lowry or Alan Turing. The children have researched and weighed all the facts and had their say.
This week it was so lovely to have parents come in for our first ever book club! The children really enjoyed having the chance to bring in their favourite books to share with each other. They discussed what their book is about, their favourite parts and why they would recommend it to others.
We loved hearing about everyone’s favourite books and look forward to being able to do this again!
This week Year 4 enjoyed a maths session in the hall with Mr Reddy and our parents or carers. We learned some exciting ways of learning our times tables. Well done Year 4!
We really enjoyed welcoming in our parents and caters into our classroom for our book club last week😁! It was lovely to share with our families a book recommendation and to spend quality time sharing books. Thanks to all of those that attended!
Nursery have been learning all about the festival Diwali. We looked at the story of Rama and Sita, made Rangoli patterns and Diya lamps. We loved learning about the festival of light.
Year 6 finished their work on the circulatory system by dissecting a lamb’s heart. The children used their knowledge to identify different parts of the heart and to explain their role in the system.
This week in PSHE we have been learning how to live healthy lifestyle. We created posters to share with the other classes to educate them on what we have learnt.
